Hey, I’m hexxie (All Pronouns).

I’m a 39-year-old gay, gender-fluid human living tucked away somewhere in the mossy, rain-soaked woods of the Pacific Northwest of Canada. Though I call these giant ferns, endless pine trees, and perpetual overcast skies home now, I was born and raised out in the prairies. Today, I’m happily engaged, living with my partner and our two dogs, and running a business.

The Journey Back to Joy 🌧️

Recently, I found out I’m autistic. Going through a heavy unmasking process shifted everything in my life, and along the way, I realized I’ve lost a lot of the simple joy I used to have. Right now, Blunts & Sage is my journey back, a safe space to rediscover the things that make me light up.

My fierce disdain for AI art made me stubborn enough to pick up a digital pencil and learn how to draw from scratch. I’m completely self-taught and learning as I go in real time. I’m fiercely committed to keeping real human hands in my work. 100% human-made, zero AI. If a line looks a little wobbly or a proportion is a bit off, just know I’m actively embracing the imperfections and having fun being silly with it.

Where the Art Comes From 🍃

To be completely honest, most of these designs exist because I got high, said something ridiculous out loud, and realized it needed to be drawn. My partner has kept a running log of all the unhinged, absurd stuff that has ever come out of my mouth while stoned, so a lot of these pieces come straight from that notebook, mixed with random high thoughts and herbal rituals brewing in my head.

Because I’m just one human managing life, neurodivergence, and two dogs, I run this shop through Fourthwall. It allows me to get my art out into the world on-demand without having to hold a mountain of inventory in my living room.
